Founder and fan of the wiki, I'm not always around. I work outdoors (backpacking!) and am generally only logged on a few days per month. Wiki without me. This website is yours!

Thanks Arlen! I can't wait to release it to users :)
2007-04-09 10:34:29 JACK! I did a google search and found that PCTWIKI is now listed. Went ahead and put a notice on the Open Trail Directory site that PCTWIKI is open for business and asked both the PCTA and ADZ to remove their links to the OTD. Tonight I will be contacting the people who were providing town info for the OTD and asking them to post to the PCTWIKI. —GlenHubbell

Most fantastic!!
2007-04-09 22:33:49 In 2004 I spent a full day at the Muir Trail Ranch and had a long talk with both the owner and the cooks. The web site does not reflect what is actually happening at the ranch. What is our job here? Encouraging hikers to use this service can lead to a failed hike, and it appears to have happened. —GlenHubbell

I spent much of a day at MTR in 2003 I think. Not sure what you mean by what is our job. I take my job to be to provide whatever information I know about a subject. If you know more about MTR, like for instance a story of where it seriously messed up someones hike, post it!
2007-05-02 20:48:19 JACK! Am unable to do any work on the wiki. Am totally overloaded with work and personal obligations. Will check back in when I can. Probably will not be able to do any serious work on the site until winter. Good Luck! —GlenHubbell
2007-10-06 21:39:33 Howdy, Jack! I love this wiki! If you could add a non-wiki contact (like an email address) to the
wiki profile, it would be really helpful. —JabberWokky
2007-10-15 12:05:51 Hey Jack, I'm back from the hike and seem to be the first 2007er to sign in. Maybe with more of the us getting back into everyday life now would be a good time to mention this agian on the PCT-L. I'm still working on my GPS logs. When I'm done I'll have royalty free data to upload and link from the map page. —Craig
2007-10-17 18:50:42 Jack!
I have created non linked trail sections listing in bold because there is a need to sort out lots of stuff by section but while this is going on there may be a conflict with other linked section systems. My plan is to just go ahead and create these non linked sections and then when the dust has settled, go back and link then to a master section list. The idea is that it will be possible to look at everything in a section master list or at a specific subject (such as trail angels) which will display by sections.
